Bishop Evan A. Grant  Th.D

Received his calling to the ministry at a young age: 14. After his calling, he enrolled in Bethel Bible College, in Mandeville, Jamaica, where he studied theology for three years. Upon graduation, he completed his pastoral internship in Hanover, Jamaica, at the New Testament Church of God, where he remained for one year. He received $6.00 as his first month's salary. He was then transferred to Burnt Savannah New Testament Church of God, in Westmoreland, as the pastor. Six months later, the Lord laid it on Rev. Grant's heart to start another church. He remained pastoring in Westmoreland for 2 1/2 years. He was then transferred to the Montego Bay District where he pastored for four years. Rev. Grant was then appointed to Kingston where he pastored at two churches for one year.

In September 1987, Rev. Grant migrated to Orlando, Florida, where he continued his theological studies at St. Peter's Bible College. After leaving Florida, he went to New York where he remained for four years and worked as an assistant pastor in the New Testament Church of God while employed at a law firm in New York City.

In 1992, while riding the train home from work, Rev. Grant fell into a trance for a short period of time in which the Lord showed him many things which he could not comprehend at the time. One such vision was that of 11 individuals.

In April 1994, with the permission of his landlord, he decided to break down the walls of his apartment and make God's vision a reality. He opened a place of worship and a school for home and personal care. During this time, Rev. Grant did not have any members to attend the church but he held on to his faith and the vision of the 11 individuals that God showed him. On April 1994, the International Faith Christian Fellowship Church (IFCFC) was officially organized. Rev. Grant knew God was working in the ministry he had given him.

In 1998, he moved back to Florida and IFCFC expanded its mission and opened the Assisted Living Facility in Coral Springs to house elderly residents. In 1999, the Faith Christian Fellowship Training Institute opened its doors to the community; providing health careers in Nursing Assistance, Patient Care Assistance, and Home Health Aides. The training institute was installed to build confidence and self-esteem and also to have acquired skills to function in today's society.

IFCFC continues to expand its missions with churches throughout the world and Rev. Grant remains the overseer of the churches in New York and the senior pastor of his Fort Lauderdale based church.
